Set up or change direct deposit

EI, CPP, OAS, tax refunds, and many benefits pay faster by direct deposit. Banking information must match the account holder; joint accounts may need extra confirmation at the bank.

Updates and delays

Changes can take one or more payment cycles. Keep old account open until the first successful deposit lands in the new one.
